Very happy to have received from my friends in Künzelsau, Germany, this picture of today’s concert featuring my 11 variations for Trombone & Orchestra performed by Enzo Turriziani for whom I wrote them and dedicated the score to, under the wise and enthusiastic baton of Mark Laycock and of course the wonderful Würth Philharmoniker, Lead today by Catalin Eugen Desaga. So sad I could not attend since I was myself busy with rehearsals at Teatro alla Scala but it’s a great feeling to know that this concert happened and went very well…
